I’ve wasted money accidentally hitting okay and thus losing the energy I bought to play rounds. At least when you are sent to the App Store in other games you still get a chance to decide if you want to buy that app. I have to stop myself and remember that I need to X out of it in the top right corner like you would with an advertisement that you’ve viewed and don’t wish to be sent to the App Store. It does not ask, Buy Now? Or a use any better clarification. You have to really change your thinking to interpret what it says. I’m thinking Okay, I read this but not Okay use my coins to buy the power up. But after each round it suggests you buy a power up with the the Okay button being the prominent option. However, because you can only play 6 rounds at a time and then have to wait 120 minutes for your energy to fully refill I purchased some extra coins several times.
I usually do not use real money for in game purchases.
